A.K. Rohner | 4 comments I would like to send a pdf of my book, A Blaze of Beginnings, if you would be willing to post a review about it on Goodreads or Amazon. Preferably both, but either one is most definitely fine. If anyone is interested, let me know.

Here are some words that describe the book well:
Fast-paced
High octane
Mysterious

Also, here is an excerpt from the book:

"Hey, sleepyhead. Wake up," a voice echoed in Aaron's mind like a Grand Canyon tourist deciding to randomly shout so he could hear the satisfying sound of his own echo. Aaron, recognizing the voice to be Tracy's, opened his eyes slowly, trying to adjust them to the unnaturally bright lights.
"Where am I?" he asked, his throat dry and begging for water.
"The hospital,” Tracy said. “The doctor said you had a fractured skull, but that it somehow...healed itself. He said he's never seen anything like it. He's even doing some tests now to see how it could have happened. It looks like you've become a scientific anomaly." She tried to follow it with a giggle, in hopes that Aaron would say something, but he was still out of it from the pain medication the doctor had given him. There was an awkward silence that hung over the both of them like a Christmas ornament. Tracy, unable to find more to talk about, began drifting in and out of sleep.
Just when she had accepted Aarons refusal to speak, he finally gave into the temptation to know everything that happened while he had been out.
"Where are my parents?" Aaron asked the almost asleep Tracy. She shook her head lightly to wake herself up.
"They're on their way. Apparently, Ajay wasn't feeling well, so they took him here. When I called them they were on their way back home." Her long, blonde hair was still tied up in a pony tail. She had a bruise on her face from the hit she took from the gun. Other than that one bruise, her skin was pale and smooth, and her grey eyes sparkled in the overly bright hospital lights. She looked so beautiful, and Aaron found himself staring again. "Why are you staring at me?" Tracy asked suddenly. "Did you hear at all what I said?"
"What did you say?" Aaron asked still half-dazed. She just groaned in annoyance and didn't say anything else. Aaron felt so stupid for not listening to her. He had been finding himself staring more and more at her. Everytime he saw her, his stomach felt broken inside. It made no sense to the poor teen, but he tried to suppress it as much as he could.
