Powerless (or so she thinks) Pandora gave up long ago trying to belong in the paranormal side of life. Her love of books sealed her friendship with A, a non-paranormal pretty thing. Her humanity was not reflected on her lack of magic or powers, it wasn't on her bloodline but on her love of life. And she only knows half of what actually lives on the world she is so in love with. Ignorance is a bliss.. Pandora thought if she said it enough times in her head she could forgive herself for not telling A about everything that is out there. Good and Bad.
Her big brother is the family prodigy, starting to make objects float since his first tooth. But he is sweet and protective of his little sister and there is no jealousy or competitiveness between them. It's through him that she meets some nice paranormal people.
One of them is his best friend B: a dream come true, drop dead gorgeous being. Talented in so much more than just his paranormal qualities, he understands the need to protect humans. With Pandora's brother, they make the wonder duo a thing. Having been best buddies since primary school, they make every girl, paranormal or not, they cross be in need of a very cold shower.
But not Pandora, of course. She refuses to acknowledge that he grew up magnificently, that he is infuriating only because of the whirlwind of emotions he unleashes in her.
She doesn't phantom that B and her brother have her back in more ways than she can imagine. And to top it up, her powers where there all along: anti-magic.
Of course you can be the girl! :)And of course you are free to drive the character as you feel is right.

Oh. I thought you meant her best friend, that is human.My idea was for someone to play A or B while doubling everybody else.
Or we can double A and B and you can create a new character parallel in the story. "2 main characters per se".
We establish the world, the backbone of the story and we depart from there...What do you say? :)

Well, if you want you can create a character that would fit the story and while doubling everybody else, we give our character's perspective of the plot separately or of the same events :)
As in, you'd rule your actions, you wouldn't have to follow Pandora.

Another day in heaven Pandora watched the parked cars fill out the street to their house. "A penny for your thoughts?" her brother kept looking straight, as he should, since he was driving, but she could feel his attention shift to her "Tell me again why we have to do this?" she was tired of pretending she was actually doing something at these meetings her parents convened.
"Because we need to stick together..." she spoke over him before he could sing the rest "...to protect the paranormal"
Thane took his eyes off the road for two seconds, he knew what was coming next. Pandora humpfed while crossing her arms over her seat-belt "But I am not paranormal! I don't have powers, I shouldn't have to go!" She was whining and she knew it.
Eyes back on the road, Thane rolled his eyes. This was an old banter that never went away. "Why do we keep coming back to this? You are from a paranormal family and it hasn't been proved that you are powerless!" Pandora heard him phrasing it staccato style...again. It wouldn't be the last either "And even if you are, you are still part of our family and you belong with us."
"Yeah..." Pandora had made him repeat it a million times. Since childhood, her brother had taken upon himself to make sure of her well-being. He protected her even from herself.
Thane was the complete opposite of his baby sister. He had showed talent way early while she was still to manifest any powers at the age of 23. It was unusual and she was bullied for it as a child by other paranormals. He had made sure every last of them would cower whenever she crossed their path. But until this day, she still resisted socializing..."Besides, Elena will be there."
"Thanks T." Pandora really loved her brother. That's why she couldn't stop from teasing him. "She may be my best friend but you always seem know where she is, don't you?"

Elena was late, again. It seemed to her that she was late to everything, late to school, late to parties, and now she was late for the Supernaturally Gifted Convention. One that was held her by best friend's parents. It wasn't that Elena tried to be late, it just always turned out that way. This time she'd fallen asleep and when she'd awoken, her hair had been a complete mess and her makeup was all over her pillow. It taken her an hour to get herself presentable, and then another 30 minutes picking out what to wear. She'd finally decided on a summery halter dress, it was atleast 25 degrees outside and she wasn't trying to make the already boring convention, uncomfortable as well. Nicholas had promised he'd pick her up, he was such a gentleman. Well, she bet that if Thane hadn't made him pick her up he wouldn't have bothered but still, for Thane, it was a nice thing to do. She saw his army green jeep pull up in front of her house and she jogged out to meet him. "Hey, thanks for coming" she said as she slid into the passenger seat. "No problem, Pierce, I'm your humble servant" Thane joked, and Elena rolled her eyes. Funny she thought to herself, more like Thane's humble servant. It was true, Nic and Thane had been bestfriends ever since she could remember but aside from their dazzling good looks they were polar opposites. Where Thane was responsible, Nic was reckless, where Thane was cunning, Nic was... Well, he certainly wasn't dumb, but Elena wouldn't have described his as the sharpest tool in the shed. But jokes aside, Nic did whatever Thane asked of him and vice versa, they seemed to have a bond stronger than iron. After what seemed like ages of back and forth banter they reached the convention. "This better be good" she muttered to herself as they walked up the path to their house.
Ugh, here we go Pandora did her best to greet the usual crowd that filtered through her front door once a month. When the formalities were done, she zipped to the kitchen and had her head in the fridge when she hear a throat being cleared. Signing her disappointment, she looked at her brother with pleading eyes. "C'mon T..." his crossed arms were flexing and his eyes looked bored. "Ugh, fine" she closed the fridge, a cool drink in hand and walked ahead of him into the office cabin they had in the back garden. Thane couldn't help but smile at his sister's back. He hadn't said a word but she knew, as always. She just had to endure the meeting. Well, the 3 hours meeting. Shaking his head, he thought that calling these meetings the Supernaturally Gifted Convention was really appropriate. Pandora and Elena had been joking when they said it the first time. Now, it was the cynical private name they had for it.
People had started to filter inside the office cabin and he saw Pandora go inside before he checked his watch. Where are they?
The sound of the jeep parking out front gave him some relief. For all of the minutes Elena might be delayed, as she was all the time, he could count on Nic to get them anywhere on time.
Secret shaking with Nic was a reflex nowadays but it always felt good to know he had his brother with him. Nicolas and Thane had been glued at the hip since kindergarten and barely anything had changed. Except the way he now looks at Pandora Thane quickly dismissed the protective instinct though. He trusted Nic with his life and he knew in the deepest corner of his soul that he would never hurt his sister. Still, he felt the urge to protect her against any male person. Paranormal or not.
Looking at his best friend go into the office cabin in search of his sister, no doubt, he finally looked at Elena. Damn! This was why he tried to keep his cool around her. Right now he was hot and had to fist his hand at his side not to touch her. Elena looked beautiful in her summer dress, all willowy and pure. The heat had given her rosy cheeks and her makeup had given her deep brown eyes a natural glow.
Clearing his throat he just smiled at her "Hey, glad you could make it" Teasing Elena was one of his favorite hobbies.
(( Aahahah even you swapped them a bit. So, just to be clear Nic is my bro's best friend and Thane is my bro...yes? :) ahah btw if there is anything you dont like, let me know ^^ ))
((( Ohh, haha my bad sorry. Yep, Thane is Pandora's older brother and Nic is Thane's bestfriend ))) Elena and Nic were greeted by the cool interior of the Archer household. "Well, thanks again, I'll see ya" Elena called to Nic as she bounded off in search of Pandora. Even though she was found of Nic, she wasn't exactly dying to be in his company. Nic rolled his eyes as he watched Elena leave, she was quirky definitely he thought to himself as he made his way to the office cabin where he knew he would find Pandora. Probably sulking about the fact that she had to be present during the Convention, he prepared himself to listen to her rants he pushed open the heavy set ebony doors.
Elena found herself making small talk with the other kids, but all she really wanted to do was find Pandora. She hadn't seen her bestfriend in almost a week, she'd just been so busy with school, and her job, and of course, her assignments. She was just about to pull out her phone and call her when she ran into Thane, Pandora's older brother. "Well, I knew how upset you would've been if I hadn't" Elena joked back easily, she loved the back and forth banter her and Thane always had. He knew just how to keep her on her toes.

As always, Pandora put her backpack on the chair to her far right, on the one closer to herself she put a small fleece she had with her in case the temperature changed, as it always did in the small evenings, and on the one to her left she was about to drop her legs. It's not like everyone didn't know these were *their* seats, but one could never be too careful. She never managed to put her legs on it though, Nicholas grabbed them midair and put them on his lap as he sat "Hey, give those back!" but he wasn't having none of it. His soft but calloused hands kept her legs in place, drawing small circles on the tanned flesh "Nop".
Pandora just crossed her arms and tried to look annoyed. She didn't really want her legs back but this was her bro's best friend. The sexy guy who could get any girl he wanted, paranormal or not, but always seemed to find time to mess with her.
Nicholas felt lucky. He had managed to touch and get a rise of Pandora at the same time. Her tanned legs were soft and pliable under his touch. He kept looking forward as not to absorb how high her jean shorts were ridding in this position.
"Where's Elle?" she felt herself ask while pretending not to focus on his touch. He was still not looking at her, but the answer came anyway "Probably with Thane".
"Hey guys!!" the sudden shrill made them both jump on their seats, making Nicholas let go of her legs. Damn The look she gave Thane must've passed all her annoyance because he winced before passing both of them and sitting to Pandora's far right, holding her backpack between his knees.
"Nice dress." she said to her best friend as she sat next to her, a secret smile creeping to her lips. While Elena was passing Pandora's fleece back, she couldn't help herself "You'll have to tell me who's the lucky guy" her tease earned a pointed look from Elena and a twitch from her brother that was pretending not to care. Revenge is a dish best served cold Pandora thought to herself.
Once everyone was sitting down, her parents started the usual updates on the community news and which kids had developed which powers, etc. Same as usual. Same boredom.
