Books about cops

Hey guys! I've recently started watching Rookie Blue and I absolutely love this show! But since the show ended, and I know myself really well to know that when I get at the end I'll be really sad and I'll probably mope a little bit, I was wondering if there were any similar books out there. I'm not necessarily looking for murder mysteries, but more like the life of cops, if it makes sense. Thanks!

Michael Connolly's Harry Bosch series. An LAPD Detective in Los Angeles, plenty of cop stuff, cop-life stuff, and intense, fast paced action. The first in the series is The Black Echo
