Traci Sanders | 2 comments Hi, everyone! It's been a while since I've been active on Goodreads, but since I retired from my J-O-B, I have more time to devote to it and learn more about it.

Just introducing myself... I'm an author of ten titles in romance, children's, and nonfiction (self-help) books.

I'm also an avid book reviewer, advocate for other Indie authors, and an editor.

I'm happy to offer any advice on the writing or publishing industry that I can. I enjoy helping others succeed.

Thanks!

Wolfen (wolfenm) | 39 comments Hi, all! *waves* I'm Wolfie!

I worked for Borders, once upon a time. Currently, I'm an Assistant Editor for the webzine Sequential Tart, which I've been writing for since 2001. I'm also an artist, and working on a fantasy storyverse I call Gaiankind. :) I'm also pagan, bi, and nominally genderfluid. My primary interests are mythology, folklore, and genre pop culture.

My big struggle right now is attracting readers, given how very niche my work is, LOL!

Claire Perkins (clairehperkins) | 5 comments Hi there fellow Indie Authors : )

I'm Claire H Perkins. As a self-published author myself, I know how hard it is to get your name out there. I was let down very badly by a national radio station that should know better and cancelled my on air interview (to an audience of thousands at the last minute. Rather than stay angry and upset, I decided to see if I can set up my own internet radio station for authors - kind of like talk radio but 'Book Talk Radio' to give indie authors a voice.

You're more than welcome to pop over to www.booktalkradio.info and see if its for you!

Kind regards
Claire

Katia M. Davis (katiamdavis) Hi all,

Hope everyone is writing well! I joined this group because I love writing, and reading and am in the process of writing/finishing some things for publication. I'm at the pre-promotion stage where I am still writing, editing, developing cover designs, building giveaways, an email list, website...you know the drill. Essentially I am trying to circulate my name/brand before I launch anything. I've got several months to go before my final product is ready and I thought I would use that time to help others out with discussions, reviews, feedback etc. as I know trying to be seen is one of the hardest things in indie publishing.

I write psychological horror, sci-fi, action/adventure, dark fantasy, and some of my work is LGBT themed. Yes, I know it is a mix, but I keep getting these strange people talking in my head.

I read widely and have an Honours degree in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology. I worked in the field for several years and have excavated 4000 year old human remains as well of lots of other things. So if anyone wants to know what that is like for their writing I'd be more than happy to have a chat, just message me on here and we'll go from there.

Happy writing all!

Kat.

Welcome, Kat! The beauty of being an indie author is the freedom to explore multiple genres. :)

Dale Lehman (dalelehman) | 1814 comments I just joined this group. My wife and I run a small press. My two mystery novels have been published through our company, and I have a third in the works, as well as a couple of other projects. In my day job I'm a software developer. My author profile is here.
