Were you initially persuaded that Louis Roulet was probably innocent? Why or why not?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I think the author just wanted us to be shocked by the twist. I totally bought into the idea that Roulet had been set up by Reggie Campo. I was shocked when we learned that not only was Roulet guilty of the assault, but he was also a murderer.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments There was something off about him from the start. I couldn't figure out why he wanted Mickey for his attorney when he could obviously afford a real shark from a larger more influential firm.

Consequently, I wasn't shocked that he was revealed to be a serial killer.

I agree with you both. While he seemed odd, I believed him to be innocent, almost up to the point where it was definitively revealed. While I wasn't shocked, I was a little caught off guard.
