@badger: which ever you're more comfortable with. Just remember that when we start role playing it's in 3rd person. And yes, the writing sample has to be based around that character/plot.
Hunters aren't really special characters so no, you're aloud to have a hunter and a character claim. Depending on how popular hunters become, I may make them unlimited as well.
So...the every lasting question: do werewolves have clothes, still, when they shift? Are we going realistic and saying all their clothes would shred/fall off whenever the human shifted, and when shifted back, they'd be lacking all clothing? Or are we going with the 'their clothes magically vanish and reappear' approach? Or something in-between?
It's really up to you. For me, my werewolf still has all her clothes when she shifts back to human - all intact. It's whatever you prefer (:
Lol, but if it's up to us to pick our preference, the continuity is lost across the species. I'll go with what you have just to make it so there's no variation :).
Wow so I'm totally new to the way things work on Goodreads but I would love to start up a new roleplay. Can anyone give me the rundown of what order I should be checking out the threads in and stuff (it's probably totally self explanatory)?
Hi, @SkellyGirl! Welcome to GRs :D. I'd recommend starting with the rules, then going to the species and plot set up for the group. After that, you can go in a few different directions, but I'd recommend reading over some of the already made characters to get a feel of how they are being created. Don't worry with the templates and what not for now, rather focusing on the info and what not. Then go ahead and start dipping your toes into character creation. Some get collabs set up before creating a character, making it so they can tailor their character to fit the collab better and others make characters first then base a collab around the characters. It's up to you, really :D. But that's pretty much how I start off in a group on this site :D. Hope I could help!
I was wondering if listing your face claims in the discussion tab is absolutely mandatory because more often than not I end up with unknown people that are normally just used as a basis for my characters.
@ mettaboo : if you'd like to claim a faceclaim that is unknown to you, all i ask of you is that under your faceclaim just label it as "unknown" and link to the photo.
ex:
[ females ] :
. unknown : xxx
does that help?
Could you make a college please? Unless there already is one, but all I saw was a high school. Tyvm :)
@metaboo, yup! We can make one. If Shay doesnt get to it before me, I'll try and get it up tonight or tomorrow after i get off work. You can request threada here, btw :D. Helps us keep up with them easier if they are requested for in a thread dedicated for them :)
So hi hello.I have a question.
I saw that gatsby made a nephilim character, but as far as i know they aren't on the species list. So, are they allowed? bc if they are boy am i gonna have fun.
@ gee : im actually planning to add them to the species list, just haven't quite gotten to it. there might be a limit on them. if you'd like to create one, feel free!
@ luxemburgers : there isn't a specific template. here's a link to the thread with the general info you need in your form : xxxx
Okay! i actually took the idea and turned them into hunters instead but i might make one that's been bouncing around my head for literal years :)
this is something really mundane, but you have the star of david / magen david in your group title, which is a judaic symbol, and the jewish people don't believe in demons / hell / etc...
Angel wrote: "this is something really mundane, but you have the star of david / magen david in your group title, which is a judaic symbol, and the jewish people don't believe in demons / hell / etc..."I believe she was trying to do a hexagram, which is a prominent symbol in Wiccan Lore
@ angel : yes I know that but go find me a hexagram symbol to put in the title...
the one there is resembling it in a way.
