They explain that in previous chapters, I only mention things that are explained since I cannot remember many details from my first read, but he also said in recent chapters that (view spoiler)[ it was a tactic from his father, so that people took notice and they could see his improvement. He was really about to screw everyone's lives over his beliefs... also what the heck with Jake, he's such a jerk and so happy he got what he deserved! Only a few chapters in but whoa!! already I am hooked...how did this happen so fast? What secrets are these students hiding? Was the car accident a distraction tactic? I have so many questions!!!!!

Part One
(view spoiler)[ The four of them working together seems so unlikely. I can't imagine the police actually believing it was a group effort when they are so different and there would be no way for them to know that each other had a secret, especially when no one saw what Simon planned to post before he did.
I feel bad for Nate more than any of them. He's so alone and already has so much to deal with at home with his father. He's only a teenager and basically gets accused of murder just to come home and clean up his father's vomit and then Bronwyn's dad makes him leave. It's just sad. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ The police really don't seem to have a lot to go on. I think Maeve is right and they needed to look more into Mr. Avery. He could have easily set the whole thing up. Obviously Simon was just a kid and didn't deserve to die, but I can see how he would make a lot of enemies if he'd been doing this for years. (hide spoiler)]

100% how I feel. It just seems so unlikely which makes me want to read even faster to see who did do it. And yes, Nate may not be making the best choices but given that home life he is doing the absolute best he can. And if you think about it, the other three have a lot of pressure on them too. Not that this is an excuse for any of their actions but I wonder if this might be why they were targeted in the first place.

Chapter 20 (view spoiler)[ WOAH! Lots of development...was not expecting some of that. Even though Bronwyn wrote that post, I still don't think she had anything to do with it. I understand her being mad but if she was going to really act on it, she would have done it a long time ago! Not surprised about Nate's mom. It is often easier to tell a lie than explain the complicated truth. I really like them together. And now everything with Cooper makes more sense too. That is a really hard secret to keep. I hope if it comes out, it is because he wants it to not because of Simon's blog or whatever. I am agreeing with this lawyer that they need to investigate Simon more. But taking so many people down with him and asking others to do his dirty work is just cruel. I am glad that in the end, the right people were prosecuted and the truth came out. Nate and Bronwyn coming together is just so so sweet. I feel bad for Nate's home life. Bronwyn's sister is someone I want in my corner.

Addy I feel really bad for her, it is really bad that the last years her life only revolved around Jake. I am really not a fan of Jake or Addy's Mom. Like her Sister tough.

I like Cooper who is this Kris en where did he meet her. I do feel vad for his girlfriend though. But yeah.

Stil no idea who comitted the murder but don't think it was one of the Baywood Four
