Is it bad that the books I mentioned are either dark or fantasy? I'd be hard torn between The Iron King, The Bandit, and Corrupt. :)
Thanks for the nice welcome and for letting me join in the fun!!! This is a great idea since i have so many books to read!!! Thanks Fabi and Grey!!!I've been following Maryse's blog ever since 2011 I think...and I like to think of Tessa as my book twin since we have pretty similar taste :)
:D I noticed that when you friended me. However, to see that list... *swoons* I wish I could re-read all those for the first time again.

Yep, and I changed my mind, so SUCKARIGHTBACKATCHA!
Michelle wrote: "Ela - I'd be okay with either one of those!!!"From Rags it is and don't let the low rating full you it's really just glamour
Also, I love this author's PNR series....

Fun fun fun!!!!!
Yay, Leslie! Thank youuuuu!!!! I finally get to find out what all the fuss is about! Now I need to get caught up and look to see what Anna's going to read...
In Niki's honor, I went through her favorites shelf and added another to my pick-for-me shelf. Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout.
Not sure if you heard the story, Niki...but I'm totally cheating and combining challenges this year. The 5 star favorites challenge and the monthly pick for me challenge for me are the same shelf. What I did was go through and picked one 5 star favorite from each of all of you for my pick-for-me shelf. Pretty brilliant right? I do plan to read all of these books by the end of the year, so knowing that they are winners to each of you seemed like a no-brainer to me!

Nay, see my post in the freebie thread! Emma Scott has Rush listed for free for the next day or two. I snagged it to read, too.
Niki--I just sent you a friend request. I meant to put a note on it, by since I'm Ms. Clickety Clickerson, I clicked before I remembered to put the message!
I saw, Grey--thanks! I've got KU, but I still click on those books when they're free because I know sometimes authors take them off. I've gotten burned a few times in the past when I've gone back to check out a KU book for free, and it wasn't KU anymore.OK, since I haven't seen Anna around today, I've been getting caught up on the posts I missed, but I'm really going to pick her book now. BRB...
Grey, you know that Amy will be screaming with joy over Obsidian right? I am too right now. That's... that's... Seth is mine, K? Aidan is Amy's. Seth is in a heated fight with Mason type mine, and Aidan is Amy's Mason. :D
I did the same as Grey. So many goodies, but I picked the one I wanted to read most, Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop.
I'm late to the party since this is only morning here. This is gonna be fun.Grey wrote: "Ooooh, I get to pick for Lisa.... *shit* I have to pick for Lisa... I'm scared. I was a shitty book picker last time..."
Nooo Grey, you weren't a s****y book picker. I just put a book on my list I was recced and took and chance on it and I turned out not to like it. It happens, sistah!
But now, My sweet Grey, NOW I GET TO PICK YOUR BOOK. Oh the sweet irony. Haha. Let me look at your list then I'll get back to you.
Paula wrote: "Jan - picked this one as I like the author's other books, not sure what her P..."Thankyou Paula. I was kinda looking for an excuse to try that one cos I'm on a bit of a Katy Regnery kick at the moment (with her CRs). I do like a good pnr/shifter tale, so we will see!
Ha Grey. You're so easy. I've only read 2 of your books, Carter Reed (which I only 2-starred) and THE TURNING POINT which as we all know I FLOVED. So, da-da, my pick is THE TURNING POINT. And it's a marmee book, I guess, but I still loved it, even though I'm not into marmees. It's so beautiful. The writing style is a bit different till you get used to it (the writer is English) but you have to hang in there cos it's a beautiful story of true, real, deep love. And the end OH MY GOD. So beautifully written. One of those books you never forget. One of my rare 5 star reads. I hope you like it too :)

Wow! This is a blast from the past! I know I used to have it on my tbr because I considered reading it 4-5 years ago when I got it free from Amazon and all my book friends were reading it, but when I looked, it wasn't on any of my shelves. I'm also going to try one of her pnr series...finally... click, clickety, click! lol

Niki wrote: "I am Ela!!! But I am waiting for the library version....so I will skim the first one while I wait!"Cool beans...BR
Edit: I'm actually going to put this one on hold for now since I'm not liking the turn it's taking....
I finished my Pick for Me - King by TM Frazier (selected by Grey). I looooved this book. A 4.5 for me, which I rounded up to 5...because Pancakes! And, of course, I immediately dove into the rest of them. I also finished Tyrant and am working on Lawless/Soulless. Then I will read Preppy's books because Preppy is the best character I've read in a long time.
