The book is a collection of short stories and I can't remember the title of the book at all.

I remember one of the stories and in it the narrator ( I think lives somewhere in India) works for a company as someone who feels pain for people for money. Character's life is mundane, the work is big cooperate cubicle work.

I think another short story in the book was from the POV of a video game character in an RP game maybe?? if that helps!

I read this book 2 years ago in 2015, and I do not think it was a super new release because I bought it from a book store that was going out of business and sold *super* discounted books.

Pretty sure the cover of the book was plain white. Simple text for the title and author.
