I'm freaking done with my dad. He gets mad and tells me to be silent whenever I express my opinion, which contradicts his.So not only is my right to speech being suppressed, but my body, voice and opinion is being controlled by my dad, not my parents, even though I'm an adult.

That's so dumb. You're an adult, you don't need his permission to do anything anymore! It makes me glad Mom isn't like that at all. Personally I think you should move out the first chance you get.

Oh believe me, I want to leave. But at the same time, I'm worried they ((and possibly people here)) will see that as immature. Not only that, but I'm 10000000000% reliant on my parents for literally everything.
I don't think it's immature personally, but it's ultimately up to what you wanna do.
Obviously :pThough once I DO live on my own, I'll be eating cereal, sandwiches, fast food and delivery alone for the rest of my life, save family gatherings :p
It's not that hard to eat actual food.
Real food is expensive.

Not here. We learned how to make beef, chicken, I thiiiink pork, eggs and we learned regional meals too.
We did one cake unit and then my group made a pound cake for our southerner unit.
Really? We just learned how to make a bunch of junk food. Besides, why are you relying on your culinary class to teach you how to cook? Why not read a cookbook? Or look it up on the Internet? Wanna know how my mom learned how to cook? She read cookbooks.

I know how to read recipes, if you really wanna know I can help you. I was groomed to be a housewife and I knew how to read recipes before I could read most books.

The Internet :P Just give me the recipe or ask me a question and I can answer it :P Yup. I spent a lot of time around my dad's side of the family, who were really conservative Southern folks, so I was groomed to be both a housewife and a Southern Belle. I spent half of my childhood acting like it was the 1880's. I still know how to do things like set tables for seven different parties, embroider, arrange tea parties, and I have impeccable mealtime manners, even for eating fast food!
I just don't do that stuff since it's inconvenient, but I like having that knowledge. I also wore lots of long dresses as a girl. Half of them looked like Victorian dresses with high necks and ankle-long skirts.

Uh, duh I like it. I was stifled a lot as a kid, but that's just because I was a kid. I'd like to do that stuff again. And of course I'd love to be a housewife. I can still be an author while I do that. A lot of my favorite authors are both housewives and authors.

I know, hence why I don't act that way a lot. Like, I know how to eat Mc'Donald's with a fork and knife because it's polite and proper. But people will make fun of me if I do that, so I don't. My manners book also says pizza is fine to eat with your hands, but if it's really cheesy or gooey you have to also use a fork and knife.
Hey if we ever hung out and you wanted to eat Mc'Donald's with a fork and knife, then you go for it. I'll probably be eating something else with a fork and knife because I think Md'Donald's is disgusting though :pReally, you be as proper and lady-like as you want. I want to see the true you, the you whose skin you're most comfortable wearing, you know?
I haven't done a lot of lady-like things in a while, it'll take me a while to get back into the groove of them.

Because I want to meet my friends in person...I know one person at my school who I'd call an actual friend. Everyone else is in other states!!

I don't blame you. I have my best friend in real life, and my personal RP partner, who is my best Internet friend, but I want to meet my GR friends in real life too. I wanna meet you and Sera and Haaley and some other people on here too. I want you guys to see how I really am in real life and not just on the Internet, since I make myself sound less crazy than in real life. I want you guys to see how I look like and do my favorite things to do.
Except I can't travel anywhere, so for now you guys will have to visit me instead...
