Pepsi's okay, but my brothers buy it so much for us to drink that I'm starting to get sick of that too.

Apparently those videos used a lot of data so my dad is likely going to be mad even though they just slow our data if we use too much and my sister is the one who uses the most >.<

The toddler had a knife and he leaped up, tackled her to the ground and murdered her. Then a female Death took her soul away ((this was the dad's boss)) and she was buried in the backyward.

I've thought about recording some multiplayer games like Smite, but not sure how others would feel about being recorded and put up on YouTube.

Why? If the others don't want to be recorded, I wouldn't make them. I would be furious if someone filmed me without telling me then posted the video on the internet.

Since finishing Ship of the Dead I've been wondering things about the rules of mythology. This will be about the myths themselves and not the plot of the book, so it will not be marked in spoilers.
Since finishing Ship of the Dead I've been wondering things about the rules of mythology. This will be about the myths themselves and not the plot of the book, so it will not be marked in spoilers. As most people familiar with Norse mythology know, at the end of time Loki will break free from his binds, along with several of his children and begin Ragnarok, which will result in the death of all but two people and the majority of the gods. All nine worlds in Norse mythology will be obliterated in the apocalypse.
One of these realms, Midgard, is the human world. As such, it would be obliterated along with life in that final battle.
And now with that, I will jump to other myths. Why? Because these myths take place in Midgard and in Rick Riordan's novels, all take place on the same planet Earth at the same time...
Anyone familiar with Greek mythology knows that the realm of the Olympians was atop Mount Olympus, a very real mountain on Earth. And beneath the surface of the Earth was the Underworld. We can infer this because several myths have heroes such as Heracles, Orpheus and Odysseus venture into the realm of the dead very much alive and return alive. Along with this, Hades' chariot creates a fissure in the ground where he takes Persephone ((in some versions anyway)) before it seals itself up.
With this knowledge, it is safe to assume that both the palace of the Olympains AND the Underworld are part of Midgard.
So my query is this: when Loki breaks free and sails on Naglfar to begin Ragnarok, what would happen to places such as Olympus and the Greek underworld? It's stated in the Greek stories that the gods are invincible. They can be cut into pieces or imprisoned in Tartarus, but they are unable to be slain. This is especially attested to in Rick's books, where it's said the only way a god can truly die is for them to "fade" by being forgotten. I suppose that when all people die prior to Ragnarok they would be forgotten, but what of the beings in the Underworld? Those already dead? They are not prophesied to fight at Ragnarok, so will they too be obliterated? Will they continue doing what they did before, unaffected? Will they fight?
And what of the Egyptian realm? The Duat, the gods, the afterlife and the realm of demons? Will they be obliterated? If I recall right, you have to use magic to get into the Duat, so perhaps that is in an alternate dimension of sorts, but would it still be in one of the nine realms?
Agggh my head hurts thinking about it. Talk to me, Ricky!!!!!
Only those who are allowed into Elysium have the chance of rebirth so i doubt it :p
Only those who are allowed into Elysium have the chance of rebirth so i doubt it :pAlthough speaking of reincarnation I have a question for you: what are the purpose of Buddhist prayer beads? I mean like, do they symbolize anything, have a specific function? Are there any said abilities they are said to have, like a cross warding the undead?
Because there's a Yugioh card featuring a character with Buddhist prayer beads. the card has a special ability where it can "banish" other creatures from the duel. It's called "Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer", so the implication is that it uses magic to erase/transport souls.

Anyway Buddhist prayer beads are pretty similar to things like Rosaries. You use them to keep track of your chants during prayers or your breathing while mediating. The beads represent different things depending on the material, colour, and number of beads there are, like for example if you are trying to pacify yourself, you would use a mala(what they are called) made from white beads. You rotate the beads around in your fingers while you mediate and go around and around the mala continuously until you are finished to represent the cycle of life and death and that the cycle can be broken through reaching reincarnation. The most common number of beads on a mala is 108 because humans are believed to have 108 afflictions.

The most common number of beads on a mala is 108 because humans are believed to have 108 afflictions. So basically, they are mainly used for prayers. We aren't required to wear them unless we are mediating. They aren't really seen as being objects to ward off demons or anything; the best I can come up with is the fact that the number is related to the religion but that's it.
Is that good enough?
