Okay so maybe not snarky, but he got on me abouy a knife I didnt see not in the sink. I said "I wasnt thinking about it" which is what my parents say when I point out they broke a promise to take me driving. He said I shouldnt need to be reminded aftrr this many times and I thought "and you shouldn't need to be reminded yo take me driving when YOU are the one who always brings it up!"
Sheesh, people are getting butthurt because I said games with settings of robots, laser weapons and other future tech is sci fi and not fantasy.
They said "just because it has futuristic technology doesn't mean it's sci-fi"Merian-Webster definition "fiction based on imagined future scientific or technological advances and major social or environmental changes, frequently portraying space or time travel and life on other planets."
That's exactly what it means??
don't mean to butt in but i found this kinda funny
"Many who don't read sf/f are unaware that the two though close kin are very different. Isaac Asimov, once asked to explain the difference between science fiction and fantasy, replied that science fiction, given its grounding in science, is possible; fantasy, which has no grounding in reality, is not."
so yeah, they're wrong and don't know what they're talking about lol
robotics, laser weapons, etc are all things i do believe can eventually be achieved in real life.
I watched the clip from SPongebob where he's at the diner and talks about losing his identity and someone posted a comment saying "L.A. Noire looks great"
I hate it when I respond to a question/comment from someone and all they say is "OKay". It makes me feel like they don't care about me or what i'm saying. The fact they were mad and said i'm annoying before didn't help either...
I wish I knew a way to stop this short of pushing everyone away, putting up walls and not coming back to these places, but i dom't...

"Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?" To you, Mother Earth is queen. You're a spiritual person who tries their best to stay humble and focus on the things that really matter in life.
I'm looking at parent reviews for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and one said there are "positive role models"Ummm...?
I mean, I know the Assassins fight to defend humanity's free will, but killing people is their first and ONLY method of achieving their goals.
My game is doing lampshade hanging! :DBasically, the current main quest required I have two student govs, which I do. Now, they're used a lot for "legal" stuff in the game ((I use the term loosely since it's high school)) and almost every quest they're in requires both. At the start of the quest, my character pointed out how he's never seen one without the other due to that.
I don't know what I was thinking, buying Brotherhood off Origin and not Steam. They're "processing my purchase" so I can't download it. If I bought it off Steam I could've download and started playing it hours ago
I never had this problem before. I bought BAttlefront 2, the Sims 3 and 4 and downloaded them as soon as i bought them. But Brotherhood isn't even in my game library, though it's in my purchase history and i received an email confirming the purchase.
Yeah, I'm definitely buying the rest of the AC games on Steam. I STILL don't have it even though I purchased it like 7 hours ago!
One of the quizzes I took had question saying that your phone has an embarrassing ringtone and goes off in class and asks for your reaction. I picked 'blush" which is kinda what really happened. In my 9th grade science class ((for a while)) we could keep our phones so long as they were quiet and away. Well during a test, my phone started ringing as I forgot to mute it apparently. It was LOUD and it was playing a hard rock version of the Zelda theme song. I quickly silenced it and felt like a complete fool.
Once in sixth grade we had a science project on cells due and one kid was presenting his to the class when we all suddenly heard jungle noises and our teacher said that was her phone and answered it and another kid announced: "Oh I was wondering how you got it to make noises!"
Someone's ringtone in the library is that alarm you hear on TV for the public service announcements and I'm mad they still haven't gotten banned from the library because every time I'm there it goes off super loudly

Well, it's my siblings' chore to put the food up after dinner, right? If they don't do it, somehow *I* am to blame and *I* am forced to do it. They don't get punished or even scolded and told to do it next time. *I* am the one scolded and threatened with punishment.
For my siblings not doing their chores
And they didn't today. So I'm tempted to leave it there, but I know my dad won't listen to me and will just get mad. He won't listen to any reason; his reasoning is "because I said so".
So I can either get in trouble for my siblings not being responsible, or I can keep my head down and live in fear.
Charming life, isn't it?
I know you keep telling me you don't have an abusive family, but it really does sound like they are, or your dad at least. The stories you tell me make me feel extremely uncomfortable.
Your dad seems extremely controlling and dominant, always telling you what you can and can't do. I mean, there's being an overbearing parent, and then there's literally controlling your child's life.
He is rather controlling...he decides what clothes i wear, when I wear a jacket, what shoes i can and can't wear, how long my hair and nails can be, what i can and can't watch and play, when I go to bed, how I do my job ((though that one I'm lenient with since he's the de facto boss of our branch)) and just..ugh. It's small stuff I know, but I still don't get a say. i do what I'm told when I'm told.I still don't see how that would be "abusive" though, but that's just me and my ignorance.
