Well, I've never heard of it before, but sounds good! I mean, there's mystery, the french revolution and hey, I'm sure I'll find a bit of romance even if I have to make it up! ;)

No there is a HUGE love story ... its all very chic and confusing ... I don't want to spoil it :)

How about The Three Musketeers? Or The Hunchback of the Notre Dame? Dumas stuff? I really like his work, especially because I've been to Paris and it really comes to life.

Hunchback is by Victor Hugo btw (also did Les Miserable!)

Yes ... I love Les Misérables! I've read The Man in the Iron Mask, which is the 3rd book in the The Three Musketeers series. So it's up to all of us to decide. I vote for The Scarlet Pimpernel (which is part of the Frech culture)or The Three Musketeers.

The Three Musketeers then. I've had it in my bookcase for years so this would be a good time

ok sounds good to me .... its a long one ... so it probably won't take me a few weeks ... maybe we will give this one a few months .... and I want everyone to agree! So Please agree!

Hey! I couldn't get my hands on the actual book, but I've started it online anyways... I've just finished the Clockwork Angel one so I was a bit lost lol!!

I've read Les Misérables too! Not the actual bible, an adaptation for teens (loooooool) because I couldn't stand so much suffering! I mean, I know the book is not called "green field with pink butterflies flying", but oh my God, Fantine sells her tooht! I'll never forget that passage, it's scary and I can't begin to think what I wouldn't do for my kid if I had one! :(

Anyways, we should read that Pimpernel book at some point! And oh, Jae, don't you start series we won't finish 'cause you'll drive me crazy!! The Clockwork is a series, Three Musketeers is another one... I have to know how all of them ends!!! :D

I know ... I will be honest I never started clockwork ... I know I know I feel bad about it! BUT I feel how you do, if I start a series I MUST finish it. So, yes we are going to read Twenty Years After & The Man in the Iron Mask!

I really want everyone to read The Scarlet Pimpernel! It is one of my favorite books! The movie isn't half bad either.

I am currently on book 5 of Game of Thrones, once I finish that I will be in full book club ... I have to finish it ... lol

I DID read The Fault in Our Stars .. YOU HAVE TO READ IT ... seriously it will take you only a day, it's sooooo good.

Well, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from reading the whole series anyways!!

I could, however, with ASOIAF because I've alredy watched the HBO series, so no cliffhangers, except of course for those mr. Martin left on the fifth book!

Yeah, everyone says great thing about The Fault... I'll try to keep up, but omg, I'll quote you "so many books, so little time!" lol ;)

I know right ... Just between you and me (and web?) I downloaded my Kindle on my work computer and read when it's slow ... But it looks like I'm working lol

I'm starting the three musketeers on my vacation (on my e-reader). Is anyone interested in reading something from Dickens? or Eco?

Ha, I'm going to the south of France, it's called the Languedoc-Roussillion area (the books of Kate Mosse take part in that area of France).

wow ... good for you!!! I took 5 years of French in school ... but I've never been to France ... that would be a dream !!

I've wanted to read A Tale of Two Cities for a long time! I've read Great Expectations and that was very good.

I've been going to France on holidays for as long as I can remember. I guess it's a perk living close to France.

Have you read the reviews for The Scarlet Pimpernel? I love that one. However now that we started The Three Musketeers ... I will have to read all three books!
