I love Sherlock Holmes and have probably read all his stories at least once. I may need to look into that audio, I think I would enjoy it, listening to one story every month or so.
Susie wrote: "That's what I'm going to do Linda, rather than listening all at once."Well I went to Audible and bought it!
If the original Conan Doyle stories aren't enough for you, you can always move on to the many, many spinoffs. My most recent favorites are by Lyndsay Faye , The Whole Art of Detection: Lost Mysteries of Sherlock Holmes and Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson

A Study in Scarlet is the first Sherlock Holmes installment and tells the story of how Holmes and Watson met. The mystery was so so, but it was lovely to read about the blossoming friendship and collaboration of the two men whose names are so familiar to us all.
I couldn't resist using one of my Audible credits to purchase Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection read by Stephen Fry, and the narration didn't disappoint. Fry was, and is, wonderful. I am looking forward to listening to all of the 71 hours!
