My book shows "Link+ Requested" so it's not even in transit yet. No telling how long it'll take. How about we check back next weekend and I'll at least know something more by then, I hope. If it's still only requested I can only wait and see. My library can't even give me a prediction as to when Link+ books will get here.

I'm enjoying it too. I love a good mystery.

Davis (view spoiler)[I was suspicious too because it seemed so easy when he became her partner and there wasn't a lot of bantering going on or things that led up to their relationship. It seemed like he was into her from the get-go! I like him so far. (hide spoiler)]

Nikki (view spoiler)[has had a pretty rough life with her dad (innocent?) in prison for 5 years. I understand how she would be angry at him for not being there for her due to his incarceration IF he was guilty and had chosen that route, but he was supposedly innocent and she believed that. I felt bad for her too that after that amazing kiss that made them DENT his brother's car and then to find and SEE her dad dead like that...ugh! (hide spoiler)]

Nikki's dad (view spoiler)[I think how he took her gambling on her own stash was awful because she lost it. But I think he meant well and didn't expect her to lose it all. His reaction to seeing her with Davis and his brother was pretty extreme, I thought. And since their dad is in crime too I wonder if he (their father) set up Nikki's dad and that's why he didn't want her to have anything to do with them. But I'm not sure he knows who was responsible for that. (hide spoiler)]
