I think there's something wrong with me! I seem to be the only person who didn't love this book. Perhaps it was a timing issue. I feel like I should try again.
Maybe we are reading twins in disguise Amy! I keep forgetting to look up our compatibility percentage when I'm on my Mac.
I'm starting to think so! You're on my shortlist, and virtually everyone on it wouldn't think they belong. Except for a few, I think...
I wonder if there is a person out there that would like 100% of the books that I do. I doubt it. Nicole D, Anita, and Sara are the three that come to mind when I think of those who have the closest to my taste, but there are still many deviations. I'm loving A Spool of Blue Thread and will probably give it five. Nicole D gave it one!
I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird (again 30-35 years later) and damn still in the last two chapters of lightning thief.

An epistolary novel about an expedition across Alaska in the 1800's, there were so many interesting components of this book. Eskimo-lore, technology or lack thereof (taking a photo was a gigantic production!), women trying to come into there own. Really so many different aspects.
I thought it was very good, and when it ended I was really sad that it was over.
