I read a book around 2014 or so about a Texas couple from the Austin area who ran a barbecue restaurant. The woman was unable to bear children and was heartsick. The second storyline involves a girl from Central America who came to Central Texas to start a new life. Years later she got pregnant, gave the baby up for adoption and this original couple adopted her. It is a parallel story however, the characters do not know one another. Thanks so much for any hints on the title. I am in a book club and want to recommend this to my group.
