I can't get enough...->funny beer names
Next time try a regular new Hershey bar Kevin :-).
Kevin "El Liso Grande" wrote: "last night i ate a regular old Hershey bar and i have to say it was near perfect"I'm also a big fan of Hershey, much more so than the plain Nestle chocolate! I made S'mores one day with Nestle and they did not taste anywhere near as good as S'mores that I've always made with Hershey's!

Truer words have never been spoken! Ritter Sport with the butter biscuit is probably my favorite.
I think of Tom Hanks's character in Cast Away. After all of the time he survived on raw fish and crabs, at his "welcome back" party they served crab legs and shrimp.
well, it was frozen jim so it seemed to be ok. i like most chocolate frozen including M&M's. peanut especially. whatever size packaging they put peanut M&M's in is one serving size for me. i could use a 55 gallon drum of them beside my chair

Definitely single serve, no sharing allowed kind of candy!
I KNOW, Kevin! I got this can of what I thought was lightly sweetened, not too caloric iced tea, and only after drinking half of it did I notice it contained THREE SERVINGS. Aaaaaaargh!!!
Yeah, I don't get it either, I consider all the small convenience size packages one serving. Self control at eating is not my forte.
Maybe they do it in hopes of people thinking things are lower in calories/fat etc. than they actually are, being they are only showing the nutritional serving for "one" serving.
I'm sure that's it Morgan.
The only way that I have found to not eat the whole thing is to put it out of sight.

Y'know, every time I see the title of this thread, "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" pops into my head.

Than your willpower is vastly superior to mine, because if I know where it is all hope is lost. lol
Sprecher Root Beer from your neck of the woods is pretty good RA.

I thought so Morgan. We actually have a home town rootbeer called
Dr J. Fogworth's Indidan tonics and elixers.
It's rootbeer with flare. Cool bottles.
Larry wrote: "Samuel Adams Root Beer is my choice."I've really been enjoying Sam Adam's Summer Ale this season, and I'm not usually a big fan of seasonals.
It has a slight cherry taste. Just a hint. I find it refreshing.RA, when I lived in Pennsylvania, we considered Rolling Rock to be inexpensive not-so-good beer, like Keystone (if you've ever heard of that). I know RR has taken on a cache of late.
But to each his own!
Polygamy Porter is one of my favorite micro-brews.

Can I play too?

I've been dabbling in the Sam Adams as of late also, Larry. I think Scottish Ale is my favorite. Also not sure if this is distributed nationwide, but Boulevard is brewed in Kansas City and the Wheat and Pale Ale are heavenly.Things that I can't get enough of (that aren't beer):
Pizza
Cashews
Irish Creme Coffee (iced)
Pepperoncinis
Spicy Havarti
Blueberries
i can't get enough spicy food. i ate fresh serrano peppers on my grilled hamburgers last night topped by my very own spicy mop sauce i make. i eat peppers and onions in eggs, salads and everything. of course now i must use a kerosene chaser as nothing else has any taste to it
I hear Kevin on the Rolling Rock. But sometimes cheap beer can be good...my wife and I drank a lot of RR when we first moved in together because it was the best option at the little corner store near our apartment. I've also got nothin' against some Mickey's Big Mouths when I really want to go...how shall I put it...unconscious for a while. If I'm going to drop serious cash on beer, I'll go for Anchor Steam, esp. in the winter. Or some of the locals that are a little more expensive. Gotta support the locals.
Tad and I could go on a nasty, nasty food/beer binge...our lists are quite close...
correction: Larry on the RR. Kevin used to drink any beer and my fav kind was COLD. we would occasionally buy cases of Little Kings in OH and then proceed to drink that swill into oblivion while flinging all slugger bottles (that's what we called them) at road signs along the way home. a nice bang (enhanced by drunkenness) when you made a solid connection to a steel signi will go with Tad and RA as a DD since i think they both are cool and i can YouTube their drunken antics
Yes, I agree with Kevin...as long as the beer is way cold, it's drinkable...used to do a lot of Red Label and Meister Brau...watches Kevin for a camera

Meister Brau - when I lived in Monroe, they bottled that there, and it was a decent beer, and very cheap especially when one of your friends worked at the brewery.

You lived in Monroe, Jim? That's a beer/cheese town, right? Good high school teams, too.I got a ticket there last year. F--kers.
Yup, a beer and cheese town, I worked for a cheese company, but drank their beer - Augsburger was a great beer, and my friend didn't drink beer, so when they gave him beer I always got it.
ETA - If you ever get a chance to go to Cheese Days you should once - every other year in September.

When I was growing up around Albany, NY, there was a beer there called Schaefer. It wasn't great beer, as I recall -- but when you're 17 and you can buy a sixpack in the local bar, it hit the mark.
I knew people who worked in the Schaefer brewery. They had a keg on tap all the time. They could drink as much as they wanted, whenever they wanted. Amazing, huh?
That sixpack cost a $2, by the way. Drinking age in NY was 18 then. 17 was close enough, I guess.

A sudden ice storm blew through here several years ago and arrived earlier than expected. It occured during the week before Christmas. I was supposed to go to Texas for the holidays, but I couldn't get on the road early enough to beat the ice storm. It's probably a good thing - LOTS of cars stranded on the sides of the interstates, wreckage, etc...
Because I was about to go out of town, I'd just thrown out anything in my fridge that could go bad, so I had NO food to eat for the 3-4 days they predicted people would be stranded at home. I had to walk to the grocery store and home with whatever I could carry. I made a list beforehand, trying to think of things that wouldn't be too fragile and breakable or heavy. I decided to make some spaghetti and muffins - spaghetti to eat for lunch/dinner; muffins for breakfast...
The muffins were premade, but stale... so inedible. After several days of spaghetti for just about every meal, I was sick of it. To this day, I cringe when I see meat sauce or spaghetti noodles.
I have a similar aversion to strawberry drop candies or anything with artificial strawberry scent or flavor. That's a WHOOOOLE other story.
