u know what I find contradicting?Even though the shadowhunters need to refill their numbers due to significant losses . There is still the law that prevents them from telling mundanes about the shadow world . so how r they supposed to recruit mundanes if they can't tell them?

Like how they thought Clary was a Mundie and told her things because her life was in danger. ( That was a bad example ik)
But the mundanes won't be able to see downworlders , or demons, or even shadowhunters. they have to have the sight .

true but not everyone survives the process. they could just be getting those people killed.
