The exceptions are some weekend nights when he wants to watch Netflix. We live alone with our puppy so I have few interruptions aand if my husband sticks his head in the door to tell me something and I make a pained face he knows to come back in about ten minutes once I've worked out a sticky plot/character issue lol. He even tries to keep fresh flowers on my desk - as a romance author this does wonders for my creativity, believe it or not.

I write a lot in the office. I share it with my brother who has limited vision. He never sees that I am writing so he talks to me and I have learned how to have a discussion with him and write at the same time.
