I've got no affiliation with Tor, but thought others might like the opportunity for free e-books. You sign up for their newsletter with your e-mail and then once a month, they offer you a free download (past selections include our upcoming Wild Card read, The Just City). The current offering is Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente (one of the 21st century's more lyrical sci-fi/fantasy writers thus far IMHO).

I just finished the 4th book an hour ago, so too late for free, but glad to hear another is soon to appear. Murder Bot is a great companion on a long walk.

Does that mean you're listening to the audiobooks, or doing the walking and reading thing?

Doing the audiobooks, as I'm too clutzy to walk outside and read a book book - I save that for the library where there is less danger of tripping over a tree root! The audiobooks are great.
