Delete Misspelled author's name

For the book Dark and Dangerous Things II, I misspelled the name of one of the authors. It should be M.A. Chiappetta, but I entered it as M.A. Chiappettaa. When I tried to correct it, it would not let me edit or delete the name.

Instead, I just added an additional author with the name spelled correctly, but I'd really like to delete the misspelled name, please.

Can you help?

Donna, you need to be a librarian. Authors only have limited editing ability.

I thought I was a librarian. When I go to "edit details" I see this message:

You have author status which has limited librarian abilities for a number of reasons. There are some things that require full librarian status I.e changing book covers
