Sorry, Hannah, I just now saw this. I am going to start this one tonight or in the morning. I have to finish another book tonight first but I'm almost done with it. I'm just very overly tired so not sure I'll have it in me for tonight. If not, tomorrow for sure.

8 chapters so I have met all 8 girls on the list.

Rachel (view spoiler)[is my favorite character so far because at least she seems to have a heart. She's the only one reaching out to Jennifer and I like that. (hide spoiler)]

Obviously (view spoiler)[the idea of the list is pretty disgusting. I am glad that the principal is looking into it. How can people be so mean and cruel and heartless to people like Jennifer? Some things in life can't be changed and don't need to be! I'm really appalled! (hide spoiler)]

Margo (view spoiler)[doesn't seem to care at all that Jennifer was on the list all 4 years. I can't believe that she doesn't really want to try to make her feel any better by inviting her to sit with them. (hide spoiler)]

Sarah and Milo's (view spoiler)[chapter was a bit weird to me. So I must have missed something because the narrator said, "Had he said this yesterday, before she'd found out the truth about him..." and I don't know what she found out about him. LOL Or is it something that we'll likely find out about later? (hide spoiler)]

Just on principle (view spoiler)[the idea of listing people like this is awful. Of course we all have eyes and we all see "pretty" and "ugly" but I will always remember my mother and maternal grandmother telling my sisters and me that when you are pretty and act ugly that it makes you ugly. So if I acted rude or snotty or mean etc. it was like I was "ugly" even though (naturally) they both thought I was pretty. And I always knew that beauty was in the eyes of the beholder. What purpose could a list like this serve, especially for the ugliest girls except to hurt and further damage their most likely already damaged self-esteem. Beauty IS more important on the outside because who cares about outer looks if you are ugly as sin on the inside! (hide spoiler)]

OMG I hate that (view spoiler)[Dana and Rachel are being so fake with Jennifer and promised to help her find a dress for prom. As soon as they said YELLOW, I knew they were setting her up. As hurtful as I'm sure it was, I'm glad the salesperson spoke up. Such mean girls. But poor Jennifer is so desperate to fit in and be liked, she buys the dress anyway. SO sad!! (hide spoiler)]

It's things like this that made this hard to like.
