Hi! I'm Kayleigh, a bisexual teenager looking for some good book suggestions. I'm from Virginia and love cats, hammocks and green tea. I love all sorts of books but am currently going through another YA/comics kick. I recently loved I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alie Saenz, though I would love suggestions for good sci-fi/fantasy/adventure with strong queer characters. I'm also really interested in queer history, but I'm not sure where to start. I look forward to meeting people and talking about books!

I'm more of a movie buff, myself, but if you're looking for queer history in that vein, the definitive source for LGBTQ cinema is The Celluloid Closet: Homosexuality in the Movies. New Queer Cinema: Beyond the Celluloid Closet is also a great resource.

I also devote a chapter in my own book to it but it shouldn't be considered anything but a footnote to the other two.
