Alexis | 861 comments Hello, everyone! Please list all the promotion websites you've used or heard about and if you want, tell us about the results you achieved. One rule: no discussion in this thread please. I want the thread to be easy to browse through. Also, please list the genre of the book(s) you promoted and the amount you paid for the ad. Thank you everyone!

Alexis | 861 comments www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com

The website receives over 350,000 pageviews per month and you can purchase a sidebar ad starting with $ 10 per week.

I will update this comment after my week is done. I will be measuring the ads success by assessing the amount of visitors that land on my website through them.

My genres are erotic romance/romance.

Also - most importantly - the price you paid for the ad.

On August 11, 2016, my mystery/thriller Eighth Circle: A Special Place in Hell was ENT's Book Of The Day. I had the book (Kindle edition) on sale for 99¢ that day and for the six days that followed. In all, 196 copies were sold.

URLs for submissions are at the bottom of the page cited above.

Raúl Gilo | 15 comments I am in the middle of promotion so that I cannot provide results, but I would like to recommend a promo site which is free - once you have created your profile/uploaded book, etc, you can join the next newsletter for your promotion dates at no cost:

https://authorsdb.com/index.php

For other newsletters I've had to pay, such as:
https://www.bargainbooksy.com (10 usd)
http://awesomegang.com/ (10 usd)
http://www.justkindlebooks.com (25 usd)

I am currently running a promo discount- 50% Off - for my new released non-fiction book (which also mix some fiction) : "Sell More and Better, Eternal Sales Techniques beyond Internet".
You can see one of the ads here: http://www.justkindlebooks.com/sell-m...

I hope this helps to others. I wish you the greatest success with your books!

Well, i have this link:
https://kindlepreneur.com/list-sites-...

but no idea if they are suitable for hindi language, probably not. I know there is some groups here of Indian people. Maybe you should ask there, since they can have more information about promotion sites in Hindi, for example:

https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

Good luck with your book!

Marie Silk | 208 comments Here is a list I compiled and cross-posted of promotion sites that don't have overly strict review requirements:

No reviews? No problem :) Check out these promotional sites for your new releases or books that don't meet the review requirements of other sites. The * indicates a site that does not require reviews on new books as long as the author is established with reviewed books on Amazon (and a high overall star rating). Approval processes still apply to most.

Free to submit:

Choosy Bookworm (free option)
Free99book.com
ebooklister.net
freebooks.com

Pay to submit:

Book Raid
Kindle books and tips
Book Gorilla*
Book Angel UK
Ebook Hounds
The Fussy Librarian* (Make sure you type “the” in the address bar or it will send you to a virus-y page!)
Bargain Booksy*
ENT
Just Kindle Books
Digital Book Today
Booksends*
Choosy Bookworm
Sweet free books*
Awesome Gang

You welcome! I have no choice, but to use free promotion sites for the same reasons. I have hundreds more I've used of all free promo sites so keep visiting this thread for more. A lot of them have a great following and they review indie books. I use a lot of bloggers from all over the world, they've been my most reliable reviewers and promoters.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 84 comments Just about to begin my Autumn (your Spring) 99cents/pence sales push for my three novels.

Will send you all a breakdown of each day's places I used and the sales if it will be of any use to you all.

Most of them are paid ads, some aren't and some like Ask David help you do a very good twitter campaign within good Twitter streams of readers.

And Indiesunlimited.com has a good list of places which accept new releases. It's hard to get places if your book is a new release and so does not have many 5 star reviews!

All genres, and you can choose to promote your book via quote, book cover ad on the sidebars, or an editorial review. The pricing options make sure there's something for every budget, and I've personally found a number of authors through these ads, so I can attest that they work from a reader point of view. :-)

I've just remembered this little gem. It's gone downhill a lot lately but you can have a banner ad for a week for about £8.

Contact Suzanne Costner. She's an avid reviewer. https://fveslibrary.blogspot.com/2017...

Look up if she'll accept submissions. Follow all rules if there are any. She's a librarian. She's been reviewing our books for years.
