Empress (the_empress) ISBN13 = 9780062190376 is here.

ISBN 97800629104139 is incorrect - has too many digits. Were you trying to link this edition?

Is it just one edition you want added with less pages or both?

The only formats for which book-in-hand does not trump publisher/Amazon/etc. data are ebooks. User settings, precise model of ereader, and other variables can mean that the same book on your ereader and mine have different page counts. Therefore, for ebooks (including Kindle editions), the page number should come from the publisher.

Richard Buro (rwburo1outlookcom) | 22 comments Rivka and Ellie - the book is an epub edition, page labelled Copyright has the ISBN number for the epub edition as 9780062190413. The 744 number is from my Samsung Tab S2 Nook. You are so right about pagination, etc. Rarely do even similar products come up with variations regardless. I carefully transcribed the 13 character ISBN for the epub version as noted above. Hope this helps. Since my variance in pagination bothered me, I am looking at using various ways to find pagination information. Thank you for being so helpful as always. I really appreciate all of your efforts to keep noviates like me straight.

Richard Buro, Central Texas.

Just to finish muddying the water here is a copy of the copyright page from the copy of Strphenson's Seveneves.

The epub has the 0413 ending for the copy in question. The 744 pagination is from that edition. Inmanswer to the question, yes, it is a pagination with the epub being read from a Samsung Tab S2 Nook, running all current revs of its operating system and apps. It is an Android device. Hope that helps our discussion. Thanks so much for all of you assistance and handholding for me. It is deeply appreciated.

lethe | 16369 comments As rivka said, for ebooks the page count needs to come from the publisher, since different ereaders give differing page counts.

ETA And the publisher gives 880 pages, as it already says on the book record: https://www.harpercollins.com/9780062...
