Hi- I'm actually stuck on trying to find a book I had read in the past.

I remember the girl was hiking in the woods on a mountain and ended up on the guys land. He ends up keeping her (hostage style) till she ends up staying on her own. I think he is a recluse cause when he was younger his sister met someone online and she ended up murdered. They end up with children and he starts to take his family into the town more

I also think the book starts off when they are together then drifts to the past on how they meet

It's killing me to figure out the name so I can try to find it again. Any help is greatly appreciated
