The Turn of the Screw by Henry James

Today, 4/1/17, the film adaptation of the above (known as "The Innocents") was shown on the TCM Channel and I happened to come across it. See my review:

Interesting review but doubt if I read or watch the movie. Too dark.

Yes, The Turn of the Screw definitely was too dark. I left it on as the movie played on TV but only watched it in spots.
