This collection of TC stories came out 2/4/2017 and is apparently the first in a series. Unsolved serial murders? How bad could that be?

That's true. The only trouble I have with some of these short e-books is that quite frequently you find you could've wrote it yourself simply by paraphrasing the information online.I'm not saying this book is like this but I have been disappointed in the past.
So have I! Murder Under the Rising Sun: 15 Japanese Serial Killers That Terrified a Nation springs to mind.
Yep, I've had similar experiences. It's like reading newspaper clippings - no depth. I want the juicy details, the stuff no one else has been able to ferret out.
That's more than fine with me if there's a bibliography in the back to lead me to more reading, like the one in New Murderer's Who's Who.
