Mark Barnes (mark_barnes) | 246 comments The book D-Day Through German Eyes is available in three editions: Book 1, Book 2, and a combined volume. It's confused partly because Book 1 is often not called book 1 (presumably there weren't plans for Book 2 when it was first published). Then there's a further problem in that it appears that the stories in Book 1 have been made available with a slightly different title (D-Day: German Viewpoints), and again split up into both a combined edition and a Book 1 and Book 2. (So that the combined edition of D-Day: German Viewpoints appears to be identical to Book 1 of D-Day Through German Eyes. It's therefore messed up in GoodReads. As far as I'm able to tell, this is what it should be:

D-Day Through German Eyes Book 1:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

D-Day Through German Eyes Book 2:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

D-Day Through German Eyes Combined:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

D-Day: German Viewpoints book 1:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

D-Day: German Viewpoints book 2:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

D-Day: German Viewpoints (combined), very likely the same as D-Day Through German Eyes Book 1:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
(I fairly sure the above volume is the same as "Book 1", judging mostly by the page count, publication date, and subtitle. It seems too short to be the Combined Book. However, it's no longer listed at Amazon, so I can't see inside to be 100% sure.)

Perhaps some disambiguation notices could also be added, as it is rather confusing.

Arenda | 26450 comments I've separated D DAY Through German Eyes: Book One and Book Two that was incorrectly combined with only book 1 (and merged a duplicate for the combined book).

For now, I've created two series, one for each title and made a note in the series description that book 1-2 from one series might be the same as book 1 from the other series.
I can't find evidence it is actually the same book (although it seems to be possible).
