Colleen I've seen this before and I think it's fun to have a thread of all the first sentences in the books you're currently reading, as we all appreciate fine literature (IMHO) and the effort that goes into it. It will be great to read the first lines of all our novels, books you've read and others you may want to try. Write out the sentence with the name of the book. I'll go first:
