Nik Krasno | 19850 comments If maybe 10-20 years, you heard couples telling that they'd met in college, worked together or at some party, vacation or through friends, nowadays they (my impression) originate from the internet.
Dating sites is a tremendous multi-billion dollar biz, successfully generating dates and couples.
It seems even a thought of picking someone up in a bar is a bit anachronistic -:)
Is meeting people moving mostly into cyberspace? What do you think?

Nik Krasno | 19850 comments I guess the cyberspace is not as pristine and shining as it appears.
Last two weddings though that I've been to were of people who met on the internet, so I guess some do find it useful..
Don't know if Forbes really rates Tinder as the hottest app, as they claim, but it sure caught some virality. Interestingly, a friend of mine says it works poorly for him in LA, but great in NY. Maybe local taste peculiarities?

Nik Krasno | 19850 comments Hmm... The new stats claim that 40% of couples get to know each other online and there are no comments here?! -:)
https://qz.com/1546677/around-40-of-u... (Strangely, the total percentage here somehow adds up to more than 100)
Internet is not only about books and provoking civil unrest in remote places-:)
Do you think the share of 'internet couples' (nothing negative intended here) will grow (at least until Russian subs cut all the transatlantic cables)?
