I have a big ring-bound notebook so I can have a page for each character. And some of the pages have a LOT of swear words one them

One of my least favorite things about writing is coming up with a really, really good scene, but ultimately having to cut it because it doesn't really add anything.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one!I add extra Es to words. I clearly get distracted by goodreads. I type anagrams (solider instead of soldier is a common one for some reason). I google words to double-check I'm using them correctly (like anagram just now).
Thankfully, I don't randomly switch tenses. I will has that one down when written. ;P
When I write a scene or conversation I really like but can't keep, I sometimes spend hours trying to fit it into a different scene/setting/chapter just so I don't have to kill my darlings. :/
Michael wrote: "I once wrote a short story on an ancient PC, running Windows 98, in a large empty room in Brazil (long story). All the word menus were in Portuguese, which made saving to the floppy drive tiresome,..."This story sounds like the perfect inspiration for a story.
