Looks like Daphne may be taking in Cole Lynch. What do you think of this decision?

This is a interesting turn of events. I did not see Cole as Travis' son coming. He is Ford's brother and deserves a good home with a real family.

I felt sorry for him through the whole book and I didn't see the Travis twist coming either. I can understand why she would want to do that though.

I liked that turn. It may be Daphne's personal redemption. Cole just wanted a normal family. I think he'll get that with both Daphne and the Carters.

IF he can get past the fact that they played a major role in Mitch's death.

That's true. In the end, I'm not sure what he thought about Mitch once he learned about the abduction of Pamela and Kimberly and the people he killed (Isaac).

[Anita]

It's still a long way for him to go to accept Ford, Daphne and Joseph as his family given the roles they played in Mitch's death.

Cole will probably need hours of counseling and time, but I like to imagine that the gift of a good family moves him past Mitch and "Mitch issues" so that he can accept being a part of a solid family.
