Yes, she should never have been left alone, not even for a minute, and Ford didn't count. Armed guards should have been posted. But Mitch was a very clever baddie. He was dressed for the occasion.

I agree as well. Plus everyone (officers) involved should have been introduced to each other so an unfamiliar officer would have been suspect. They were expecting Mitch to take Daphne so leaving her alone at any point in time didn't make sense.

Very good point. Everyone should have been made to present their ID especially since Mitch and Beckett were both out there.
