Clay Maynard was responsible for providing Forde protection. Isaac didn't do the background on Kim, ended up dead and Forde was abducted. Is this on him? Are you questioning his PI skills or has he just had bad luck with personnel?

Clay had used Isaac before and had no reason to doubt his abilities. This is all on Isaac. I don't blame Clay. It was bad luck that the oversight of the background check on Kim turned out to be pivotal.

I agree it wasn't about his abilities as a P.I. however this is now the second employee who has worked for him that has had "issues." I think he needs to have more oversight on his employees because there is obviously something going wrong in his organization.

I'm with you, Danielle. People are dead because Clay's employees blew it. It falls back on him. He definitely needs to take a step back and resolve this.

I really like Clay, but I also agree that his judgment is suspect in some areas.
