Dennis Meredith (dennismeredith) | 141 comments Great article from Derek Haines:
Amazon Kindle keywords are one of the most powerful book marketing tools

Amazon is, in fact, a big retail search engine, so when potential book buyers start looking for a new book to read, they very often begin by searching.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I've done this but I'll have to check to see if the results I found on KDP Rocket match with Amazon, hopefully they do.

Justin (justinbienvenue) Okay so I have some good news and some bad news about what I found with my keywords.

Good News: As I searched my keywords on Amazon I found my book ranked quite low in most cases.

Bad News: I searched the keywords on Amazon under a normal search and under all my categories so I don't know what professionals mean by make sure your you rank well under keywords when there's technically four different ways in which keywords factor in on Amazon. Perhaps they mean all ways but even so I am confused.

Amy Hamilton | 2560 comments When I did mine, I just picked words that were relevant to what I'd written. I didn't search them. I was struggling to find enough words to include anyway. It needs a revisit with a clear head.
