Add option to report friend requests from predators xxx

There is an option to report/flag messages between members, but what about reporting members straight from their profile or friend requests?

This member [link removed] sent me a request and I have received similar lately. In the "about me" is something about young girls for sex. I would like a quick way for us to report these members without having to receive a message first.

You can flag the profile picture if there is one. If there is not, as in this case, copy/paste the URL at the Contact Us page, or send it in an email to support at goodreads dot com.

It seems the spammers are out in force. I got a similar one as well. I just deleted it.

I get them as well...they don't have any other activity on their page or no profile picture...how do they get to be on Goodreads??

I have gotten two. GR is very good about removing them when you report them. Thank you, GR!

Thanks for reporting these to us. As mentioned in the thread Elizabeth linked above, we are proactively working on removing these spam users and on finding a more permanent solution to this issue. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused in the meanwhile!

thank you for your attention to this Jaclyn...much appreciated...I am sure it will all be ironed out very quickly...it happens everywhere on social media...we all need to be more vigilant in addressing the friend request issue...and adopt our own individual policies to protect our accts.
