after six hours of searching using every tag and boolean i could i finally found it!!!!!' i was beginning to think i was crazyArchetype : a novel / M.D. Waters. / M.D. Waters
I read the book about four years ago and have spent about three hours at least searching for it and can't find it.
-It takes place (maybe in the US i believe) where it is split into two, the west side is free, and in the East the women are owned. They have camps where men can go buy teenage women for wives.
The main character wakes up with amneisa in a hositpal or mental asylum (Her doctor might be named Dr. White) not remembering anything. She finds her loving husband (who might be named Duncan) by her side. He takes her to a house they own in these a moutian or hill I think.
Spoilers:
She is apart of the rebel army to fight the system and she is really married to someone else (who might be named Alex but maybe not) in the army.
Her real husband is working undercover as a security manager for a security system that Duncan uses, or owns, i'm not sure
I know eventually she kills Duncan by pushing him off a cliff by their house into an icy river, but then he comes back in the third book because he and the doctor are into some cloning thing and finds out she's a clone
