Chelsea | 562 comments What were your thoughts when the word didn't work? Everyone said they would fail, and they did. Should they have listened and stopped earlier? What benefits came from finding the word?

The Word--This was one of the most important parts of the whole book. By trying and losing every option of this -- trying to figure out what the word is, was quite interesting. We can see the different ways trying and figuring the ways the word can and can't/doesn't work.

Angela (angeladecker814) | 104 comments I was disappointed, but it made sense. I think if nothing else, Jason proved to himself and to others that he's resourceful, dedicated, and cares about the world, so hopefully he'll continue on and find success another way. And the idea of a word of power in general was cool (and relatable) to me.

Chelsea | 562 comments I couldn't believe the word didn't work! But I think it was beneficial because if they can get the information back it's a HUGE thing and now they know a bunch of allies to work with.
