Goodreads Author can't edit data on my author page

Hello, I'm confused. I'm trying to edit my author page, but when I click 'edit data' it says

"Sorry, this author is on Goodreads and is responsible for editing their own data. If you see a typo or other error, then you may want to report it in the Goodreads Librarians Group."

However I thought I already had Goodreads author status as I applied a while ago by click on 'this is my book'.

Any help would be really appreciated :)

your profile you are on, itsn't linked to your GR author page

You have a user profile and an author profile:

Normally the two are merged (although sometimes the author prefers not to merge them).

If you want your user profile to be merged into your author profile, please contact support (at) goodreads (dot) com. Librarians cannot help with this :)
