Parentheses in title

I was editing the description of this upcoming publication and edited the title to read Los Angeles instead of L.A. Now the parenthetical part of the title isn't showing up in the list of the author's books. I assume the system must think it is a series parenthetical but it is not. Is there a way to make sure the full title with parentheses displays correctly?
