Summer (paradisecity) ASIN: B0019LV31E

The illustrated Kindle edition published in 2005 doesn't have a page count. The Amazon link for the Kindle edition with the above ASIN lists 470 pages, while my edition has 451 pages. There's an illustrated ebook edition that looks like the same edition as the Kindle, but has a page count of 560, which is way off.

Thanks!

David Raz (davidraz) | 13127 comments Indeed the editing history of the illustrated Kindle edition includes the ASIN you mentioned. It was removed instead of setting an ACE. The publication date and publisher were removed in the 2012 "incident" and never reset. I have to leave now, so maybe another librarian would like to correct all of these issues, otherwise I'll do it later.
As we don't have any publisher records of what the page count was before the Reprint, your 451 count is as good as any.

Is this the page count on your own ereader? With ebooks (including Kindle editions) we cannot use page counts based on those, because they differ significantly between different types of ereader.

Summer (paradisecity) Yes, that data comes from my Kindle. The page is count is linked to a print edition, so it's not repaginating based on font size. I'm not sure which print edition that is, unfortunately.
