my book is filed under author of same name

I just added a new book (though without an image- I thought it would pull automatically once I used the ISBN) called Awakened by the Minotaur using my author name, Erin Moore.

It seems to be filed under a different Erin Moore. Can I move it over to me? Also, I really needed to capitalize all of the title but can't figure out how to edit anything.

Hi Erin, couple of things:

1) Added the cover, capitalization fixed. As you've just learned, covers are not automatically added, the author or a librarian has to do that manually.

2) Goodreads uses extra spaces to disambiguate authors with otherwise identical names. The author profile you claimed is Erin^^Moore where ^ is a space. The extra space directs book to your profile but is invisible except on the edit page. So in the future when adding books to GOodreads, remember to add an extra space in the author field.

I'll also add that you have some editing capabilities for books attached to your author profile. If you had created the record with two spaces, you would have been able to add the cover and fix the capitalization after the fact.
