April's Promotional Group Read - Salvage by Duncan Ralston
Watery ghosts. Two terrors in one. I've never been comfortable with the idea of drowning and the scariest stories I've ever read have been ghost stories.Checked out some of the reviews. Looks like a great book.
I've requested mine. If Dead Sea wins the regular group read for April, I'm going to have a very wet month.
sounds like an interesting premise, i will request a copy to discuss!
I've had this one marked as "want-to-read" for a while--a great reason to finally get to it!! :)
I'm in:-). Ghost stories are my favorite!I just joined Kindle Unlimited recently (doing the one month free thing, although I will be very tempted to pay the $9.99/month), so I won't request a book from Duncan--I'll just read it through Unlimited.
Wow! Lots of requests! Thanks, everyone! Sorry about the "form letter" but I gotta save some strength in my fingers for writing books. :P Hope you all dig the book!
Thanks Duncan! I'll grab it from kindle unlimited in the hopes one of our H.A. Members gets one. Looking forward to reading it!
Would love to join this group read, the summary sounds intriguing...just sent in my request *crossfingers*
Whoops! I didn't see it was for April. I'm only at 8% so I'll pause. I wanted to say I had a dream before that I was being drowned, held under. It really is terrifying. Woke up gasping for breath. Ok I'm pausing now.
Starting soon! I am loving all the author involvement with group readings lately! --Jen from Quebec :0)
We appreciate you noticing, Jennifer Lynn. We thought it would be a great opportunity for the authors involved and a small way we can give back to the faithful HA group members.
Started this morning and part way into Chapter 2 'Baptism'. So far? I'm feeling a bit creeped out, which is a good sign...
Loving the writing style.

I'll be starting it tomorrow... I'm glad to read people are already creeped out in the beginning. So looking forward to this one.
@Annerlee Oooh, I love Poltergeist II! Love the detailed breakdown you've got there, I hope it continues to keep you creeped out! :)

For those that receive free copies, please keep in mind that authors do this in the hopes of gaining reviews. HA strongly urges you to do so, so that we may keep these monthly features going.
To request your copy, email Duncan Ralston at:

*Be sure to give him your email to send the e-copy to.
Free copies will be given on a first come, first served basis.
This thread will also be the discussion thread for the book.
