Nalla Xavier (nallaxavier) | 19 comments I swear finding someone to ARC is like searching for a needle in a haystack? Let's not mention trying to find multiple ones. How do you guys do it?

Erin Daniels | 120 comments It's not easy lol. I relied on my mailing list, used review groups and basically approached people who seemed like reasonable candidates. As long as you don't spam or bookwhack people are usually pretty positive. Another thing I do is provide as much info as possible when I approach a potential reviewer. Nothin annoys me more than someone asking for a review yet they don't voluntarily give me as much info as possible to make my decision. If I have to go investigate your book, its blurb, cover, platforms etc chances are I won't. Hope this helps.

Manasa Kannan | 2 comments There are a lot of groups in goodreads providing arcs and there's netgalley and many other websites where along with blog tour (if you are a blogger) they also provide arcs.
Hope this helps.

Amanda Siegrist (amandasiegrist) I like to offer ARCs to bloggers that have read my books in the past. That's about the only avenue I've done before. I have seen on GR, areas where people offer ARCs. So plenty of areas to offer one. And Erin had some great advice. The more info you provide, the better.

I was thinking for my newest release I might do a giveaway of some kind. Might be fun and an interesting way to do things.

Abigail Sharpe (abigailsharpe) | 118 comments My publisher put my books in Netgalley. I'm also planning on contacting bloggers/ reviewers who have read books similar to mine (or by writers I admire) when I actually release another book.

+1

I've also done an ARC sign-up post on my author site with pretty decent results (I think haha). Won't link it here for obvious reasons but if you'd like to see exactly what I did, just shoot me a PM ^_~

Truth be told, I'm notoriously bad for writing up til the last minute and not sending out ARCs at all. That said, I did have 20-ish advanced readers for my latest release, even though I dropped the ball and didn't actually send out any advanced copies...

*grins sheepishly*

Yeah, they just got free copies the day of cuz of the whole dropping the ball thing haha! Anyhoo, like Miss Erin, I rely (heavily) on my mailing list. Again, cuz I epic fail at ARCs, it's been more for launching my books "well" a.k.a. getting enough sales outta the gate to gain instant visibility, but I could totally send out a call for advanced readers that way too.

Hope that helps!

Hugs,
Ann
