M.L. Drones...in the news a lot these days, and I've seen a few flying around the neighborhood. I'm not planning on buying one, but if Amazon makes good on it's promise to use drones for deliveries I may be seeing them at my front door. I wonder if they'll leave packages on the porch--or drop the in the yard, hopefully not on anyone. :)
Are they safe, dangerous? Thoughts on drones?

Can be safe, if used for safe purposes, can be extremely dangerous, if stuffed with nasty things.. The bees and birds are probably already a little nervous from the new airborne species..
Been at the wedding last week, which was recorded using a drone. Probably soon we'd be able to transport ourselves with their help too: https://www.engadget.com/2016/01/06/1...

Roger Jackson When they do a remake of the movie Up they will use drones instead of helium filled balloons.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8077 comments I'm paranoid about drones because I've read so much about them, especially about insect drones. The other day I was outside watering my plants, and this large bumblebee kept circling me and finally stopped right in front of me and hovered. Unusual behavior, in my experience, and I thought, "This could be a drone." I proceeded to try to hit it with a spray of water and ended up looking, if my neighbors were watching, like a lunatic. Doesn't mean it wasn't a drone trying to steal my watering technique, though.
