I really liked how she used her brains to come up with a plan to get Cory out of this mess, even if it could have cost her own life.
I thought she was one of the best developed heroines I've read in a long time. She was clever, knew when she needed help and rose to every occasion. I hate it when the heroine with no training believes her judgment is better than the professionals and she didn't do that. Abbie followed instructions to the letter.
Loved her!
Loved her!
To me, she came across like a robot. She showed more emotion about what Sam did then the danger about what was going down. Sometimes I wondered if she had a pulse.
I kinda agree with Laura. I wanted her to show more girley reactions. She was so strong, she sucked it up every time and we didn't see much vulnerability. I like a strong heroine, but I also want to see a vulnerable side.

I liked Abbie. She had the wits to and the balls to move the diamonds, and then allowing her to be used as bait to lure Nader out. Her plan to go to Honduras by herself wasn't safe or smart, but she has the backbone to handle tense situations. I think her backstory did show some vulnerability. From her crappy abusive father, to her cheating ex husband, she needed to take back what was hers, so that was saving Cory when she couldn't save him when they were young.
