ABANDONED. first chapter was about two kids in a talent show. There is a girl and a boy, the boy doesn't speak cause he has problems and such, so when the judges ask them a question the girl will answer it for him

About how old are the girl and boy? Is there romance?
i read this book early this month, the boy has some problems (it was mentioned at the back of the book so it is not a spoiler) but i didn't read that much to know exactly why. The boy and the girl is around 11 i think. I don't know if there is any romance as i've only read the first chapter

It should be a book in the slice of life genre, the first chapter was about two kids in a talent show. There is a girl and a boy, the boy doesn't speak cause he has problems and such, so when the judges ask them a question the girl will answer it for him. At first, the judges didn't know about the boy's problem and directed a question to him,however, he wasn't able to answer so the girl answer it for him. Then the judge said "why can't he answer it for himself" and then the boy got scared and started crying. The girl explained about the boy's condition, so the judges did not say anything but told them to carry on. The boy plays the piano and sing along with the girl. Their performance shocked the audience and the judges, one of the judge went up to the stage and hugged both of them.
That is about how much I remember, I really want to find this book. so please tell me if it sounds familiar or you know that book. Thank you !!
