Can you use 1 book for several mini challenges? I am trying to figure out how to play the 50 book mini challenge and the new Bingo. I am reading The Black Tulip and it fits into several challenges, color, flower and several categories in the 50 book mini challenge and Bingo
Definitely! I have many books that overlap between The 50 Book Challenge and the Bingo Challenge. However, We try not to use books that are chosen as Group Reads. (Although, they probably slip in on occasion. It can be difficult to keep everything straight.)
I was reading the rules for the mini-challenges and I think I am having a dyslexic moment. I got very confused. My question is, If I had a book that fit into the Irish mini-challenge and it also fit into the year long Decade challenge, would they cross over.
Sorry, but no. The small mini-challenges are meant to stand on their own. They shouldn't crossover with anything.
Thanks for asking. I'll look at the wording again to see where I've been unclear.

Haha never mind, I just saw your last answer. Oh well, that only takes one away from that! And I am glad all challenges cross qith TBR!
Any chance that yall will be continuing with a Fall/Winter/Spring and Summer Bingo? I know we just finished the Summer Bingo at the end of September. I have really enjoyed these in the past, helps me keep my reading varied.Thank you,
Rebecca

I answered your bingo question in the middle of the night, but am actually awake now. I love the idea of a genre based challenge. Getting members to stretch and try new genres is good for..."
Thanks, Renee. Maybe I'll ponder this one a while longer and think about other possible formats. Or it might even fit better next year. I may try a personal challenge to see what I think.
